A Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) is a structured check performed before a vehicle is handed over to its buyer or customer. It documents the vehicle’s visible condition, equipment, basic operation, delivery requirements, and any limitations so issues can be resolved before handover.
Confirm identity, mileage, exterior, interior, tires, visible mechanical items, and any agreed road-test scope.
Capture findings, photos, notes, measurements, and “not inspected” limitations instead of guessing beyond the evidence.
Receive a clear report you can share with the buyer, delivery team, or service advisor before handover is completed.
Important: A PDI is not a warranty, guarantee, valuation, or substitute for specialist diagnostics. It describes the vehicle as observed within the agreed scope and conditions.
Confirm VIN, vehicle details, odometer, scope, and inspection context.
Work section by section with explicit results, notes, photos, and limitations.
Review completeness and share an immutable report that can be revoked or amended.
